Here’s another take on the logo assignment:

I don’t like this one too much either, but I think it’s an improvement. Is “loft” actually readable? Is “readable” actually a word? I think the “development task force” bit could also use some work but I’m at a loss as to what I could to improve it. Maybe add some sort of decoritive bullet between “task” and “force”?

The latest assignment in my Graphic and Advertising design class is to design a black & white logo for the imaginary “Atlanta Loft Development Task Force.” Here’s my take on it:

I don’t really like the typeface I used for “development task force,” but I think it’s good enough for a school assignment.

Long weekend coming up. That’s gonna be awesome, if I do say so myself. Here’s some random crap in a list:

• CompSci is finally moving on from C++ and Pascal to Java. Took long enough. The bastardly old man that runs the class told a mildly amusing story about why we can’t use the computers yet. Something about freshmen eating mouse balls.
• I just installed the Ultimate Tag Warrior wordpress plugin here. I’m going to try to move away from catagorizing my posts and instead rely on tags. They are simpler and more handy for the author.
• I’ve been totally overeating lately. It hasn’t been totally awful crap like cookies or ice cream, but eventually even apple sauce or celery has its limits. My mom accuses me of having an eating disorder when I say stuff like this, but the plain fact is that I’m overweight. No, I’m not obese, but I’m not trying to look like Gackt either.
• English class is hard as hell.
• Hannah is a cutie.
• My dad’s gotten a band together. It’s a weird mix: Five people. Two of them have PHds. The ages range at least 3 decades. Two drummers, Two guitarists, and a bassist (who happens to be female and of Argentinian descendance.)

This is Cracky-Chan. Long story behind her (Inquire if you want to know), but I think this is a good picture.
